1999 T reg Lag Pollen filter

hey there guys,
could anyone tell me where on the laguna the pollen filter is,
and how to get the heater matrix to work again without paying to much
say replacing a chip. (common prob apparently only works on full so guessing it being a resistor)
the car is a 16V 1.8 with a/C just some guidlines on where to look for where the filter fits as have found the main air filter

The pollen filter stands achance of being under the windscreen passanger side. Have alook and if there's 2 screws then undo them and remove that portion of front screen falence. The filter may be under this.
