AX clutch adjustment

Have just bought an absolutely gorgeous AX 1.1i Echo. The car is absolutely mint and the only issue is the clutch. The bite is good and reversing off a very steep driveway today its didnt slip.
The only problem is that the bite is right at the top of the pedal travel, is there anyway to adjust this down????

hi ian yes if the clutch is not at end of its life you can , if you look under bonnet on top of gear box find the clutch cable follow if forward to the end you will find the adjuster i cant remeber exact adjustment long time since i have done one im suse some one on here will know regards malcolm
