if you got a garage to do them, then well, why didnt you have the disks done at the same time, in the long run your gonna have to pointlessly pay double labour in my view (although my view isnt nessisarily the clearest :P)

just found a good website for brakes details etc....
assuming your ax is a 1.0 from between 86 through 98....
your ax brake disks are as follows...
Solid
3 Bolt holes
238 Diameter
132 Hub Diameter
29 Height
8 New Thickness
7 Minimum Thickness
and by the looks of things the measurements are in mm (millimeters).
also thats their brake disks, which look a bit special.....

New discs are probably £9.95 from GSF. (+ VAT of course)
I had trouble with the front brakes of our Zx for awhile. I replaced the pads when we got it and wondered about the discs but they looked marginal so I left them. brakes smelt horrible with new pads and never seemed to work very well so I bought new discs (about same price as AX) and eventually got round to doing them and pads. Didn't think old ones looked bad even after a further 10,000 miles and thought I'd wasted my money but I did notice a band of polished rust in the centre of the disc where there had been a difference in pad size!
New discs were much better and I think the band of rust prevented the first set contacting the disc properly. Moral - stick to one make of pad or cut off any surplus on new ones.
