laguna 2.2 misfire

I have a 2.2 diesel that has a misfire about 3000rpm. Tried injector cleaner new filters and oil problem still there. When looking around the engine bay i have noticed large bubbles in the fuel line after the fuel filter any ideas to the cause cracked filter housing?? No diesel leak though

Sorry to jump on your post, but I was just about to post the very same problem, as I've just spent the past 2 days trying to correct this. I've swapped fuel lines, checked the bleed pump diaphragm and bleed screw, removed and retightened the fuel filter. The problem persists (loads of air bubbles!)

Found the problem with my laguna it was the fuel filter housing leaking air in through the hand pump
