C5 Cruise Control - new developments
Guys, I'm sad and depressed...
I took the C5 today at the dealer, the mechanic spent a lot of time on the Lexia with me watching, but could not find any function to activate the CC.
Com2000 detected the On or Off state of the control button, but nothing more.
He made a searche on the computer and got a document where it states that adding, removing or susbtituting the CC stalk needs no programming.
The document refered to ORGA nr. 968x onwards, mine is 9535...
I'm done, right?[xx(]

for being automatic after orga nr. 9680 and not before... plus it is recognized by the system, as Com2000 says it's there.
The accelerator is connected thru a cable to the potentiometer under the BSI, so it's electronic still.
All hardware is there, brake pedal withc, cable, stalk controller...
If you could see it, i would be gratefull, Andy.
Thanks

You should be able to apply a firmware update IF the hardware is the same. If they've changed something in the ECU hardware wise, a firmware update won't work.
What happened at orgn 9680, what was actually changed then? If that just represents a change in the ECU firmware you could just get it updated or worst case get the later ECU.

Francisco- CC needs to be activated in the injection ECU as this is what controls it not the BSI,was the technician looking in there ? Citroen refer to cruise control as 'RVV' (dont ask me why, must stand for something in french) so when you go back to the injection programing menu set RVV to PRESENT,should do the trick as i cant see why it shouldnt be possible on your car.
