Xantia windscreen and bonnet

I have just counted 70+ small chips in my windscreen and there are loads on the paintwork of the bonnet. Is the usual for a Xantia.

No! All I've got is 1 inch long crack just above the dash.

70+ is a bit extreem. I've got 3 chips, one about half inch, and an untold amount of little scratches here and there. Are you sure they're chips. If you get it valeted you'll probably find that a lot of them are tiny bug splats that don't seem to come off with a normal wipe over, It's amazing how little midges can embed themselves hitting the Xant at 90mph [:D]
