Scenic Sunroof Problems

My wifes Scenic front electric sunroof is having strange problems. It will open fine to the tilt but then it won't go in either direction, closed or sliding open. I have to use the manual winder to put it down which of course is a nightmare ! Anyone else had this problem or have any ideas ? Don't know if its the switch or the mechanism.

Had this exact problem in my Laguna. It took my local Renault dealer 45 mins to fix. Apparently there are some relays inside the mechanism that tell the motor what position etc. the sunroof is in and mine went awol! They reset everything and voila... They also regreased the mechanism etc..
