<font color="blue"><font size="3"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Hi All,
I had a Bx 1.6 Auto. 1987. One of the best Bx`s and auto gearbox I have ever had. With a caravan dangling on rear of car, the box would play you a tune as it went from 2nd to 4th, up and down, up and down.[:D].It never overheated, just a bit heavy on juice around town, but most of them were. Made my own manual choke kit too.
I wouldn`t mind an Xantia turbo diesel auto, especially as I drive a truck with 16 forward gears all day. Be nice to sit there and let the geartrain take the strain. Any out there for sale ?
Regards,
Greg</font id="Comic Sans MS"></font id="size3"></font id="blue">

Stempy, I too was a citaholic, but 1 150mile journey across the A684, through Bedale, Leyburn, Hawes and Sedburgh in a Primera convinced me of 2 things, despite the complexity of my VSX, the Primera out handled it by a mile, I did not feel that if I pushed it hard it would fall to bits unlike the VSX which always feels fragile to me, and 2 the Only vehicle to traverse this route on is a motorcycle, something very agile and fast accelerating, no need for 200mph top speed just very sticky tyres, non fade brakes and bags of usable acceleration, you have the bike, buy a Primera and stop wondering what will go wrong today.
a good friend that I worked for is an Aston freak, but until his DB7 always had a Honda NSX as well, why? because as he said, he positively knew that it would start, take him 2000 miles and happily be left in his garage for 6 months and then do the same thing again, the Astons (DB2, DB5) are loads more charismatic, fun to drive etc, but if he was going to an important meeting, it was always the NSX despite having spent several times as much as he paid for the NSX on the Astons.
Your addiction is probably harder to cure than a Heroin or Coke habit and you have my sympathies [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D]
Pete
PS anyone interested in 2 xantias, 1 CXGTI Tii, 2bxs etc etc etc, [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D]

Might well do, but I've also found another 1999 16 valve auto estate. It's an Exclusive so will be fully loaded with toys, depends on what sort of deal I can get.
