Draining zx diesel tank

I have just bought a 1.9d zx with a cooked engine for spares, fortunately there is half a tank of diesel in it!
What is the easiest way of draining/syphoning/pumping it out?

does the fuel pump work? if so you can take the feed off it and pump into a bucket

You could try the scientific method
Jack the back up, clean the bottom of the tank, get ready with something large enough to collect the fuel, and punch a hole in the lowest point of the tank with a large nail or something similar.
