Another Bx back on the road

Post by Jon »

Following some tinkering last night (new 16v rear spheres, two second hand rear calipers, fixing an earthing problem on the rear lights) I'm pleased to announce that I submitted the BX for an MOT this morning and got a first time pass with no advices.
Six months rent now on the screen.
Thanks to everyone who was involved last weekend for their invaluble assistance.
I am going on roadtest up to Buckinghamshire this evening.[;)]

Not a BX but my Visa will hopefully be back on the road in a day or two. I hope so at least as ive entered a sprint on Sunday! Just got the insurance sorted. A few months back it was revealed that there were only 51 Visa GTi's still road registered in the Uk so quite rare now! Glad to put one back on the system!

Glad to hear it's done and dusted, Jon (well, the MOT part anyway).

Thought I had better do this as its my 1000th post
The TZD flew through its MOT today too, it may have helped that the tester has a 405TD and is interested in boosting it, I jetwashed the crud off the underside to celebrate and had a try at washing out another FDV with petrol for fitment tomorrow, other jobs included fitting a new diff seal to the Volcane as the old one started leaking when I fitted its new driveshaft, dismantling a Xantia hub for fitting to my mates car which has wobbling something under acceleration?
Stewart of the 1000 posts, will my computer dance and sing?[:D]
