Laguna 1.9 DTI 1998
Back again after the turbo problem. On the instrument panel the Serv and the injection warning lights come on and I lose acceleration. This has happened on and off for the last 2 yrs. First time Renault changed an injector but recently I was told it could be the EGR valve, which I had changed (£130). However after 4 weeks of no problems, its back again. Any suggestions![:(!]

Hi,
I have the same year DTi and had the same problem for some time. I believe that it is due to vibration in the injector pump region. Check all mounting bolts for the injector pump and alternator assemblies. One of the bracket mounting bolts worked loose on mine this led to 2 others snapping in the cylinder head. To cut a long story short, the timing belt jumped off causing over £1100 worth of damage. The warning lights have now stayed off (hopefully). Hope this might be some help to you.
