306 s16 keypad immobiliser
I've bought a 306 s16 loom and ecu. What i don't have is the keypad. I'm after information on how to circumvent the keypad. Also would someone help clarify where the code is stored? Basically any info on the system would be appreciated.

Hi
The code on the petrols is stored in the ECU & Keypad, Both MUST match or the system throws a sulk & locks up.
Take the ECU to a Peugeot dealer & ask them to unlock it, After you have shown them proof of ownership which they will ask for.
You could always get hold of the matching keypad & the code & unlock it permanently yourself.
All you need is the 4 digit code.

on a petrol car i think the code is only stored in the injection ECU,if for example your car has the start code 1234 & you take the keypad (as long as it is the same type) from another car with the code 5555 & fit the keypad into your car the only code that will still start your car would be 1234.
im also pretty sure the Peugeot Diag2000 machine has no feature for unlocking ECU's.
