That's an amazing mileage !
I quote, " Let me be honest, the car has had a very hard life and was rarely switched off."
Well to do that amount of mileage you would have to drive it night, and day. Or is the car mileage actually in KM ?
I quote, "I own a fleet of 6 R32's, lots of spares including an engine are avilable."
What does he do hire them out ?
Well the spares would be useful with such a high mileage.
It appears to have been relisted, and someone has bought it !
Well that car will certainly keep the new owner very busy !

The distance covered in the Golf if it's in miles exceeds the Citroen Saxo mileage I recently saw on site at a B.C.A. sale at Enfield.
The car was only 26 months old, but had covered 330,000 miles.

What I like about the Golf is the bit in questions from other buyers, where someone is trying to tell the seller of this half million mile Golf that "Golfs arent good if you do a lot of mileage........etc,etc"

Thats not very good really, if the engine only lasts 300k miles compared to that 900k mile BX at least.
Perhaps the Golf had a hard life, lots of high speed runs and regular thrashing.

I think the point is that if you are doing that mileage why run thirsty 3.2 litre V6 cars?! unless you can afford it!

I disagree- I think its pretty good for what is by most peoples standards a very exotic car, and petrol engined at that!! If that distance is in miles, which it may well be as its a RHD car, then thats been done on an oil change every 16000-not bad at all for what is pretty nearly a supercar disguised as a shopping car!!
