volcane lowering springs

Can the volcane lowering springs be put onto a ZX 1.4i? GSF sell the set for £35.

Arnt the shocks them selves different???? i know they are for 205/309's as i am selling some gti lowering springs at the mo, and afaik they only fot the gti/td's due to the shocker????

No, Volcane ones will not fit the 1.4.

are you sure?? I know the damper on the volcane is uprated but is it physically different??

For start, the Volcane damper is physically shorter. The damper rate is also different. With regards to actual "fitability" I can't compare them as I'm not in work. A quick look at Volcane springs on pr-net shows different springs for petrol Volcane, then TD Volcane are different again. Part numbers completely different from 1.4 petrols.
Ross, didn't you lower a 1.4? What did you use?

I would have thought that early 1.9 ally volcane petrols had different springs to the later 2 litre and diesel iron ones as well due to less weight.
