Why does my Xsara not suck?

Most cars I own all suck in air when you release the petrol cap. Not my Xsara. Is this normal or do I have a vacuum problem?

Its probably got a vent system that works. may even be in the cap - some used to have vents in them - probably illegal now!

All cars with fuel injection have recirulating fuel - which means that the fuel not used by the engine is feed back to the fuel tank, so there shouldn't need to be any under-pressure in the tank.

LeFrog, never had any problems with my VTR. as NiSK says you realy should have that sucking sound when you take off the filler cap. Unless your running on empty and the air temp is 30deg C. That's the olny time I heard it and thats going back to my first VTR 4 years ago.
