peugeot 307 1.6l 2002 engine fault !!!

my car does not start, there are lights on the dashboard, the alarm does not turn on or off. there is an error - 'economic mode active'.
Please help!!!
What do i do??

sounds like its gone into "limp home mode", youll need to contact your peugeot dealer or a specialist with diagnostic equipment who can read the fault codes.

Thanks, i sent my inlaw to 'limp' home with an idea of replacing the battary.
Guess what, it was the problem - did not have to toe the car' just replace the battery...
