Anyone want a 3.0 XM? Free to good home
My '92 XM has a slipping auto gearbox. I don't want to spend any more money on it, but the car is still too good to scrap. So if anyone wants to come and get it from Cirencester, UK (it'll probably need towing)you're more than welcome to have it. Needs a silencer too, but engine still good at 138000 miles.

Make sure you join www.activanet.co.uk then we are trying to get V6 owners on there too. I'm assuming the XM is a hatch? I seem to think the V6 was avalible in both estate and hatch?

Hi Chris
I know that this might sound stupid but have you made absolutely sure that the autobox on your XM is full to the correct level when the box is at 80degrees. These boxes can act very strangely when not full to almost exactly the right level.
Tony
PS. The auto-adaptive box won't fit your 12V V6.

Hi Chris - just popped over from Yahoo on a tip -
I'll be in Cirencester later this week en route to an assignation
with a CX engine - maybe we could do something ? I'll get a severe
beating off've the missus, but I'm used to it now - and those who
know me (Andy! Where the dickens is my trailer board ? It's only been
about 2 years now - and how much do you want for the auto box? )
- will attest to my support and care for the genre . . .
best regards - Graham<font face="Comic Sans MS"></font id="Comic Sans MS"><font size="4"></font id="size4"><font color="green"></font id="green">
