Xantia HDi Intercooler retrofit

Post by jwykes »

Is it possible to retrofit an intercooler to a 90Hp HDi?
If it is, are Peugeot 406 parts compatible?
Any hints and tips much appriciated

Yes it is possible, if you do a search there was a thread not long ago on it, think it was a 306 hdi 90, dont know if it got any further than discussion so far though....
A tuning box is another option, but intercooler would be better ( less strain on the engine). In fact I have just secured purchase of one of these East coast racing power boxes, via ebay at a lot lot less than the £394 rrp!!). i will report back with how I get on with it....[}:)]

Same as above, although you wouldn`t get an instant 110 bhp,as there are differences to the ecu, fueling, ect.Maybe easyer to chip it to 110 bhp,if your after more power.Have a look in the links pages for Diesel tuning.
