Xantia Knocking

Hi,
Bought a Xantia 1.9TD VSX last year and all of a sudden there is a knocking noise comiong from what i think is the left front, it has just passed its mot so i cant see it being a Cv or wheel bearing..
It only happens on bumpy roads so i assume it is suspension related
Anyone got any ideas??

Sharp rattling noise like a ball being shaken in a tin? It'll be the roll bar drop link. I think GSF do OE spec ones now - worth buying those, as the others only last about 10k. Half hour job to fit, usually with the aid of an angle grinder
