Pity the car is so far away though, it's in Italy ! [:(]
Although it's obviously left-hand drive, I would still have it ! [:)]
Why did Citroen not release the diesel Activa here [?]
ACTIVA DIESEL

It's been bid on currently by someone in Italy, another from France, and somebody in Greece.
It's very tempting, I wonder if somebody from the U.K. will bid on it !
I would certainly have it, if I didn't already have one already ! [:D]
The L.H.D. wouldn't be a problem, and the 2.1 litre turbo diesel would be so much more economical, compared to the 2.0 litre petrol turbo, and would save the hassle of having to convert one to diesel to get much better fuel consumption !

The main extra rams for the Activa are on the N/S/F suspension, and on the O/S/R suspension.
So, it shouldn't have been a problem to build it in right hand drive.
I accept the point about the engine being heavier, but surely unlike a car with normal springs etc, the Citroen suspension compensates for that on any Xantia, so it shouldn't be a problem for the Xantia Activa.
