The 'S' word...

After just reading a post (the author of which will remain anonymous) I just realised how sexist I had been in assuming everyone on here was a bloke! I wonder how many ladies use this forum.

They log on once they've finished the hoovering and washing up ! LOL. Seriously though, if you own an HDI then those small hands could be handy getting down the sides of the engine. I'd like to know too if there are any female diy'ers out there.

My missus doesn't generally do any actual spannering (unless I need a hand for those vaious jobs that are so much easier with two), but she appears to have absorbed a remarkable amount of knowledge anyway, and knows more about how cars work than all the blokes at her work (admittedly this isn't hard these days)

Wookey, my Mrs is the same. She knows the basics of engine construction and electrics. Has also done her own servicing in the past but now gets me to do it or the local garage. Know more than her male work collegues.
