Hi all
Flat battery left me with no radio as I didn't have code. After ringing supplying dealer, found that they have changed computer system and have lost my radio details. Checked all garages etc. that have carried out work, previous owners etc. without any luck. Posted details on a website that helps people decode their radios without paying Peugeot prices (they're free). 2 different chaps give the same code. However, on entering this code, it still gives 'err code' message.
Is there any way to reset this to accept code? The chaps who gave me the code reckon that the code may have been changed. I didn't think that this was possible.
Any ideas??
Les

Hi there matie.
I hope this helps, I used a mobile alarm/audio fitter who pops round and decoded my radio for me. I give him the radio, he pulls it apart to access the chip, plugs in the wires and there you have it on his screen, the stored radio code. copy it down so you dont forget it.
You might need proof that the radio is yours, You know what traders are like nowadays.
Oh i almost forgot, £15.00, not bad compaired with the dealer prices.
Good luck hope you get it sorted.

Thanks for the reply.
I have already been to a specialist with the radio in my hands, who wanted £25 to do what you suggest!! He thought that it looked that there was some water damage and that may have affected the chip - hence it not registering the correct code. If it did have water damage, it certainly didn't affect the operation at all before I lost the power!!
