Could anyone who has carried out the above on the 16v advise whether or not the job can be done without removal of the Rocker cover and Camshaft sprockets. Haynes says this needs to be done so that the upper cambelt cover can be removed to gain access to the pump. However looking at the pictures showing cambelt replacement alone, the pump appears clearly accessible.
If the cover needs removing, I want to ensure I have the necessary parts such as gasket before starting the job and they are not always stock items. I know GSF sell the gasket uner ref N11030.

Can now advise that it is not nec to remove the cover at all so seem the manual <i>may</i> be incorrect.
