Can't get Synergie Tailgate open!!!!!

The tailgate on my syndergie wont open. I tried lock/unlocking the central locking to see if it would unlock but without success. The key won't unlock it either. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can you get at it from the inside ?

You should be able to access it from the inside panel which is fastened with a series of plastic pivot screws . i.e. turn the screws 90° with a flat bladed screw driver and it should release them.
There will also be some of those pop plug things....the kind that invariably stay on the metal door skin and rip through the door card.
You might be able to get away with just undoing the bottom edge. All you should be looking for is a cable/lever to actuate.

Managed to sort it. The solenoid lever had jammed out, which meant the handle mechanism was prevented from opening. Also found that the linkages were very dry so WD40'd everything.
