Eyquem Plugs

Post by Gregg1100 »

<font face="Comic Sans MS"></font id="Comic Sans MS"><font size="2"></font id="size2"><font color="blue"></font id="blue"> Hi All,
I ordered some Eyquem spark plugs the other eve from GSF. The ones that turned up (RFN52HZ ) had threads that are a good bit longer than on the original plugs. I will have to look into this before trying to use them..
I am at a loss as to what to do next on this car. It`s still slow to return to tickover and still lurching, although not to such a marked degree. Have replaced stepper motor, pontentiometer, and cleaned out Map sensor. Have also checked all over for air leaks.
Any other ideas, Gents ?
Thanks for all previous help,
Greg.
Ps. How does one put a pic on this site, please.

Pics - go to http://photobucket.com sign up its free, upload your photo. When you get the thumbnail on screen you will have under it the picture's url. You can then cut and paste the IMG to the message.

PLEASE be a bit careful posting large pictures here - as it takes loooong time for many users to open the posting then.
Not all members here have the hi-speed (and costly) adsl connections.

I used to have one just like that Gregg1100, I think that blue is the best Xantia colour, shame it's giving you so much grief.

Re; piccie. I realized what I had done when I posted it and removed it. I have left it as a link, but please tell me if this is unacceptable also, and I will remove it. Sorry to have been a nuisance.

Is the pic still too big. Or would you rather it as a link. Please advise.
Thank you,

No no - it's quite allright [8D]
Could you possibly scale down the picture in an editor - instead of squeezing it. I feel so sorry for that Xantia ... [:D]

As an experiment, how about putting that picky of the Xant on E-bay and seeing the response. Looks like one of those cars for (toy) town driving only. [:D][:D]

<font color="blue"><font size="2"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Hi Anders,
Thanks for that. I squeezed up this car on purpose ( with MGI PhotoSuite4 ). I thought it may reduce my problems a bit. [:D]
