where is the reciever for the remote locking,mine does not work, nither does my push and turn key now, i found a circuit board in the overhead light in my series 1XM whitch was not there on my s2 so i robbed it and the plipper cos i know they both work but they wont work on my s2???any help would be most helpfull ,,,,,terry

Which system have you got? Does the key fob have a small IR transmitter, a little window near the key pin/hinge? If not then it uses a radio frequency and there is no visible sensor as in the IR unit. I understand the alarm/locking 'brain' to be near the gearlever in the housing close to the immobilisor unit with these systems. R
