Picasso brake pads.

Any tips about changing brake pads on a X plate Hdi picasso please...
haven't really been under one before, don't want to get stuck..[;)]

If its an X plater then it has the really simple Girling calipers as fitted to Berlingos and the like.
You just have to undo one 10mm bolt at the bottom, then loosen the one at the top, and the caliper hinges up allowing you to remove the pads. I think that you'll also need a 14mm spanner to stop the caliper slides turning when you're undoing the 10mm bolts.
Obviously prior to doing this you should try and lever the caliper piston back with the old pads in place.
The new pads should come with one or two new 10mm bolts with threadlock on them.

Thanks a lot Jon (again[:D]) Same as before I'm afrais got to do them in the middle of nowhere don't want to forget any tools.

I think its actually a 13mm bolt rather than a 10mm that holds the caliper.
