306 Front Speakers

Post by blueagle78 »

When I bought my Peugoet 306 XTDT it didn't had any stereo fitted in. I've fitted in the kenwood one but front speakers and tweeters aren't working! Any suggestions??

Remove the speaker and headunit and check the wiring for continuity with a multimeter. Check all connections (wiring to speaker and headunit to wiring). Make sure the balance settting on the stereo isnt set to left or right!!

Do I've to remove the whole door panel to get to the speakers or can I just remove the speaker covers to play around with them?

You prise out the speaker covers and unscrew the speakers. They are a torx bit type screw.

ROSSD thanks for your help mate but one last question! Do you know the size of these speaks and if I should be able to fit in the Nissan Almera front speakers? Almera is my old car and its still parked up as I'm trying to sell it and I really like the sound quality of those speakers!!!

You could log on to Pioneer's website and look at their custom fit catalogue to see the sizes of both the pug and nissan speakers.
