clutch feel

i had my clutch changed today they did a good job,i still have a problem i had before though.when the engine is off the pedal feels lovely and smooth but when engine is on it feels like it is slightly grating,grinding(the pedal) although the new clutch is nice and light,i had this problem with my heavy clutch,anyone any ideas

It souinds like a new clutch cable is required.

I have *exactly* the same symptoms mate. Clutch is fairly new on it too, cable has just been replaced for a genuine item.. i've run out of ideas and just come to accept it sadly. If anyone has any ideas 'd be very interested to hear too!
