Bought a Sony CD player from Empire. Good service and cheap. Saying that though Hafrauds seem really cheap at the moment. JVC single CD player for as little as £80.

I got a Sony from EmpireDirect last year too, cant fault the service, when the head unit arrived the courier had squashed it into a half DIN size head unit, one phone call to Empire, they had it picked up and had a new one within 48hrs.

What sort of stereo do you want - an original Cit item or after market?

Empire are fine until it goes wrong.... if its a washing machine fine, the engineer comes to you etc. Small things like my VCR means its got to be posted back, examined etc etc.

forget halfords, it depends how into audio you are, go to a decent car audio place you'll be better upgrading the speakers too if you are changing the headunit for a more powerfull & better quality version it will just show up the crap factory standard speakers[:D]
