ZX brakes

Just fitted a new anti-rollbar link and found that the cable for the brake pad warning light is broken. It's the thick rubber cable which has 3 or 4 wires embedded in it. Any way of joining it together? I'm not sure where the cable leads or if it can be easily replaced.

Just try stripping back each cable and connecting in the usual way. Did this on my old zx and all was OK.
