Hello all. I've done a bit of a silly thing and neglected my ZX to the point that it doesn't go anymore. Symptoms are lots of smoke out the back and lots of either oil or derv in the engine bay. I suspect the fact it had no anti freeze in the coolant and the fact I left it at the airport over the coldest week of the winter so far has resulted in a cracked block... Cue much embarrassment.
So - if anyone wants a ZX TD 4dr FOC, they're welcome to it. The interior is very good indeed. Sadly, it's about 80 miles from my home, so it's uneconomical for me to do anything with it, I'll just buy another beater for the daily commute.
The car is currently in the Manchester area pretty close to the Trafford Centre. I need to move pretty quick on this one as the car park want it gone sooner rather than later. If I have no takers by the end of Wednesday, it'll go off for scrap.
To clarify, it will start but is pretty much undrivable. There's a lot of good advice here, so I'd like to offer it as a way of thanks. Please get in contact through my profile here if you'd like to take it away.
