Xantia Rear Suspension

The rear suspension on my Xantia has a problem. When the ride control lever is in the normal position, the front suspension operates correctly. The rear suspension remains at it's lowest setting, not rising at all.
The rear suspension rises to it's full height when the ride height lever is moved the the appropriate setting.
Having read read replies to other similar problems, would I be correct to infer that problem is likely to be height control valve sticking or something else.

Most likely that plastic link popped off from anti-roll bar clamp

Thanks Alexx, I'll have a look this evening. I haven't had any problems thus far. Will it be reasonably obvious / will it be in the Haynes manual?

There is a small picture in Chapter 'Suspension and steering', number 6.5
