Oops - Ran out of fuel...

Well, the vapour light hadn't come on, and the mileage was relatively low for this tank ( about 530 compared to 600 ish ), so I wasn't even thinking about fuel.
However, it looks like the bulb has failed, and I was on a bad run, because the engine surged slightly on the way to the chippy, and then wouldn't start afterwards !
A quick trip to the shop for 2L of "reserve" got me to the garage where I filled up.
That'll teach me to run against the vapour light all the time [:I]
And it made me late for the match last night [:(]

I got totally cheeked by my old Visa before when I found out that the needle stopped just above empty and didnt go down any further, cough splutter, ring to mate etc :)
