ZX Drive Shafts

Are the splines different across the ZX range? I assume they are.
i.e. I couldn't use TD drive shafts on the 1.4 engine etc?

I think the problem will be more length than splines, but I dunno,

I do know that 1.4 drive shafts do not fit 1.9 TD ZX's. Differnet lengths. Replaced my TD's and had a look at 1.4's and the intermediate bearing was in a differnet place.

td driveshafts are even different to the non turbo ones as well.

the inner cv joint is smaller for a start. I dont know if they are larger again to 1.4 ones though.
