Dont we just love to hate it - the challenge

Post by bikeboyz »

OK because we seem to have spare time on our hands, because its winter and cold - heres the ebay challenge! We all seem to have spotted bargains or piles of old cr*p in the last few months, so my challenge to you all.
1) Surf ebay for a motor.
2) It must not cost more than £500 (or converted currency)at the auction close.
3) It must be Peugeot, Citroen or Renault or kit/conversion of the brands e.g. Lomax. for sale in any country.
4) The more interesting the find the better the chance of winning, so a 1.6 Xantia as standard clapped out may not win! But a turbo charged 2CV converted in to a race car might!! There is no quideline to what makes an interesting vechicle thats for you to decide.
5) To enter, post the ebay link in http:// text and a short couple of lines why that vechicle does it for you in this thred.
6) Enter as many times as you like.
7) You must not be selling the car on ebay
8) The winner prize is a top 30 chart cd of their choice (single disc) from me.
9) Last postings by midnight Christmas Day.
10) My decision is final bla bla bla etc.
11) Have fun, Merry Christmas!

Already sold, I know, but it meets all the criteria and as a masterpiece of home engineering and a cheap version of a Lomax, I think it fits the bill......

also this thing,

Thats a lot of performance and with some careful setting up could surprise a few people.
But having said that I once owned a 1987 Visa 115ch GTi which was better :-)
