Xantia with no key

Hi all,
I have a 1996P Xantia 1.6LX, bought second hand a couple of months back. I have several minor issues with it which I'm sure I'll be troubling you with later, but at the moment I have one major problem.
I've lost the ****** key.
When I bought the car it only came with the one, a remote plip/key combo. Any suggestions how I can go about solving this, or how much it's likely to cost me at the citroen garage?

if it is the original locks on the car citroen can order a key from the chassis number,as it isnt a transponder key it shouldnt be that expensive.
