Fuel Pump

Any ideas how to stop the vibration and is it easy to get to ??

I dont have the estate but if !!!!!!!! its the same as the diesel hatchback then the fuel pump is on the drivers side and is accesable under the rear seat.
You remove the plastic blanking cover (EASY) then you see the top of the pump. Remove the electrical connections and secure with string etc else it will drop down on top of the fuel tank. You can then unscrew the large locking ring which holds the pump in place.I tapped mine open with a hammer and a piece of wood as its tight Watch out for the o ring seal. The pump is then able to be removed.
Have not had any vibration problems though so cannot help there

is it quite a loud buzzing noise when you switch the ignition on & the fuel pump primes up ?

Yes it stays buzzing / vibrating loudly AFTER it primes up [:(]
Only started today......
It is definately the fuel pump ie the noise dose not change pitch when i rev the engine [:(!]
