PERSONAL PLATES

Post by ACTIVE8 »

I thought you might like to hear about the personal plate that Steve Parrish the bike racer, and more recently truck racer had on the car belonging to his wife, a Mercedes
He for obvious reasons [:D][:D]would not drive it. The registration number was put on for fun.
The registration was allowed by the D.V.L.A.
It also featured in a magazine.
The registration number was, believe it or not!![;)][;)] PEN 15 [:)][:D][:)]
If you want to check it out it is listed on the R.A.C. database
www.rac.co.uk if you look in the my R.A.C. and register you will find the extra proof there.
Do any of you know of any other funny plates[?]

A neighbour here has UPU 2 and somewhere around is OGO 2 L. I think this one is owned by a local Councellor.
I used to own CBM 1C when personal plates were not so popular. I wonder what CB M1C would be worth now?

I overtook a Merc SLK on Saturday... the plate was "90 MPH"
He wasn't doing that, but it is an invitation to be stopped!
It isn't on the RAC database though...?

There is a Range Rover in North Northumberland with the plate 70 MPG. There was a feature in top gear a while back, one of the plates was OHP 150F

All I can say is the wife has a personal plate 'Y11' sorry but no more as this'll give the game away, and my plans for world domination will be scupperd.

That is a very hot point you made there Mike. I can't seem to find any washing machine plates for sale on eBay. There doesn't seem to be any neons to illuminate the floor while I watch the laundry go round and round either. Someone has slipped up by missing such a niche in the market.

Mike,
Ahh but washing machines aren't the same are they. You'd be off to Comet long before spending all weekend sweating with the heater matrix on a ten year old one!
