common g/box parts

I am desperatley trying to locate a speedometer drive housing for my 1995 306 n/a diesel gearbox. I need to find out what other gearboxes will use the same fitment. Am I right in that my gearbox is BE3? If so will the housing off a 205 / 309 gearbox fit??
