My local Halfords wants <b>6.99 a litre</b> [:0][:0] for Castrol LHM-is this a sort of record?
I feel sorry for people who have no other option!!

My local H**fords in Dartford charge £5.99 a litre, which is bad enough - or so I thought! [:(!]
They have a buy one get one free on LHM at the mo… [:D]

Our local car accessories shop: £19.95 for 5 litres (Potteries Auto Spares)..
I knew there was some advantage to living in Stoke on Trent:-)

i was once left with no option but to buy anti freeze from halfords,late night, pipe fell off etc. cost me £16 for 4 litres, put it in and it all fell out again through another hole! not happy! wnet to my local factors, same amount in the same bottles £3.45!!! ( i used them a lot so always got good prices!!)

Next time you have the misfortune to be in a motorway services petrol station, take a look at the oil prices there - and scream! I'm sure they're worse.....

lol! catchment market though at a service station!! if you need oil that badly you'll have to pay the price for it!! have you ever looked at the price of cd's in service stations!!

Paid 13 Euros for 2 litres oil at a motorway services in France last month; still seething! LHM £15 for 5 litres from my local guy (Who enjoyed his BX years ago and now runs a Blown Range Rover- My heater costs more to run than your BX, Tom!)

i say go to LVW and get 5 litre of carlube 10x40w for less than a fiver :D
the rate its going, oil will be cheaper than diesel, which for my diesel will suit me just fine ;)
But then again i'd only stick the Carlube oil in the AX!
As for LHM i get the BIG total drums from GSF, much better!
