ax brakes jamming on

all the brakes on the ax are locking on, its not the master cylinder or the calipers, any ideas? Common problem?

If its got a servo pull the vacuum pipe off and if its a petrol plug the open pipe or the engine will have trouble running.
See if the brakes are then free, if so the valve on the servo is open to the atmosphere, it should only open when braking.
Can't think of anything else at the moment.

My wife has an AX that had the same problem.
It was caused by dirt fouling the rod that goes across the bulkhead from the back of the pedal to the servo.
It can be cleaned by passing a welding rod (or other piece of stiff wire) with a piece wool or string attached to one end through the sleeve with the rod inside and use the wool like floss to clean it out.
