XM Heater Blower

XM 98 SX non aircon heater blower not working. Pre-failure symptons were delay in motor starting for a few seconds after lever set, then it kicked in. Sadly it no longer wants to start. Removed motor and no apparent damage; tried scrap replacement without success. Fuses seem ok. Any clues?

One clue. Don't use a user name like Administrator. This is misleading and suggests that you are an Administrator of this Forum. I suggest that you ammend your profile to change to another user name, or I will in the next 15 minutes.
