picasso and caravan towing

has anyone towed with a 20hdi picasso - i am thinking of changing to one but not sure what they are like for caravanning - the towing braked max weight for the picasso 1300kg and my outfit fully laden is 1300kg - would like some feed back from anyone as i am unsure what they tow like and the dealer was as much use as a chocolate firegaurd

I don't tow with a Picasso, but I do with a Xantia. You probably know that the recommended trailer weight is 85% of the tow car's kerb weight, which (on paper) puts the Picasso a bit under weight. However, the 2 litre HDI would probably cope OK with your van. Why not put your question on the forum at www.practicalcaravan.co.uk
