vent controls

has any one had a problem with Xantia ventilation controls ,i have just purchased a Xantia td and the lever to switch the air to different parts of the car feels stiff and i can not get it to vent on to the screen is this a common problem,has any one fixed it ,all help greatly appreicated cheers dave

Have just had mine done under warranty. Apparently plastic gear strips when you move lever when fan is on max blow due to too much air p[ressure!!
