my cigarette lighter and my aircon lights have all gone off could you help my with the fuse i need to change an the number of the fuse and what amp fuse i should use please??? its a citroen synergie

If you have found the fusebox - it is most likely a 20amp which should be yellow. If there is no diagram on the fuse board then take the yellow fuses out one by one and replace them. Easiest thing is to use a multimeter but you can usually see a blown fuse by a broken metal strip in the 'window' or some types have an exposed thin edge. If it is not a yellow one then try white or blue. It is quite possible that it uses similar numbering to a Xantia so look at the guide here: http://xantia.rtkmail.ru/sites/electric.htm

Yes, my Xantia does that sometimes when I plug my mobile phone charger into the lighter socket. I seem to recall that it also knocks out the glove compartment light! Anyway, I never go anywhere without a handful of assorted fuses in the boot.
