PERFORMANCE INCREASE XANTIA

Hi, Is it possible to increase the performance on an Xantia my car is an 1998 Activa 2, & although it's a 2 litre turbo charged engine, I feel the performance could be better. I have heard that it is basically a light pressure turbo design. So would the performance increase be achieved in this area, or should it be chipped. Please advise, because I would be interested to find out about your experience of dealing with this issue.

Any turbo engine is a prime candidate for chipping and I'm sure with a quick search on the net you will find plenty of companies willing to do the job, either by replacing the chip or reprogamming it. You might want to fit an induction kit too.
