405 TD fuel consumption

405 TD fuel consumption

What sort of consumption should I expect out of my TD (estate) 104k. Mixed driving, 6 miles to work each day. Suburban estate roads, one busy ish small town centre and 2 miles of dual carriageway (40 limit).
I don't drive hard and my 205GLD used to do 51mpg over this route regularly, dropping to 49mpg before a service.
I filled the tank when I bought the car, £51 ouch! It's now between half and a quarter and has just done 400 miles. I was hoping to get 600 miles from a tank but I'm not so sure now.

With mixed driving - around 42mpg.
