Magic That's great to do a milestone on a milestone weekend It was a very big parkrun weekend all-round and in 5 years time I foresee an even bigger celebration

Been busy today... A trip to Tesco early on whilst a loaf of bread proved, then a run around town whilst it rose ready for baking followed by a trip to B & Q to procure some essential house maintenance items, including, and not limited to, a bag of ready-mixed screed...

I have 25Kg - smallest bag available - of it and will possibly use about a quarter of it And that's after doing a few other jobs around the house and garden needing a bit of cement...

I also got the stuff to install a proper tumble drier exhaust vent in the conservatory and the stuff I needed to fix a small leak in the conservatory roof...

Both tasks now complete...

The final item purchased was tape to re-wrap my gas pipe before it disappears again under the new layer of screed.

Meanwhile, checks on Strawberry shows she's now nicely oil (and grease) tight after a good few miles And she's driving absolutely beautifully now I've solved all of her irritating interior squeaks and rattles...

And her having no radio is no problem; I'm happy to drive any distance without and nowadays often turn off Polly's and Bluebell's and drive in peaceful silence...

Bluebell is due her MoT in a month so very soon I'll be booking her in and getting her ready for it...

That's good to know Mick Unopened bag is currently lying under Bluebell in the garage... Warm and dry in there

It's ingress of humidity that does for it, if you can plastic wrap it (or shrink wrap / cling film even) that should slow down the moisture

I have the ideal thing Matt, a big roll of industrial clingfilm. The stuff they use to wrap pallets...

Use a black bin liner as a final wrap to keep light out, keep it off the ground and airtight and it will last for ages
