Re: Picture(s) of the day....
You missed a word in the above sentence Mick... The word 'delicious' between that and vegan
Well yes, given it was about four times what I'd eat in any given sitting I felt the need to do a long run early this morning, getting delightfully wet and muddy and then later, a session on the bike and then another run in the sunshine to test my kit ready for Sunday's duathlon...
I think that lot has worked off all the excess calories... I do know it fuelled me very well indeed... Crown and Sceptre rocket fuel

Harrison Ford trudging around in Newcastle. The building behind is The Sage, that Patti Smith called a "Glass Peanut"

Loving the pencils
I'm sorry, I have no pictures for this thread today as all I've done is gone for a long, soggy run that offered no original photo opportunities - you've all seen Paggers church and the river in flood loads of times now - and spent a lot of time with Robyn and Autumn. I have some really lovely photos of both of them from today but not really POTD material... Very special to me but...
And nor is preparing my duathlon bike for Sunday's event very POTD-worthy either... Pumping up tyres, oiling a chain and checking the batteries in the Di2 derailleur and power meter is not exactly very thrilling...
And nor is loading my car with parkrun kit ready for tomorrow...

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Its been a confined to barracks day alright, soggy is the right adjective. May not make pictures of the day but an illuminated dashboard with your final March milometer readings on for the AX and the SAXO would be nice, and just the material for the How many miles in the month thread. I like illuminated dashboard images, and probably very hard to find on the net for your pair of vehicles.CitroJim wrote: 31 Mar 2023, 16:21 Loving the pencils

I have just done one and elevated my simple Micra K12 e illuminated dash to a post on the "Interiors and Dashboards (Interesting and Awful)" thread here viewtopic.php?p=750512#p750512

That is now done Neil, see the Monthly mileage thread... I was surprised how little mileage my cars did and how much my feet did!NewcastleFalcon wrote: 31 Mar 2023, 16:34May not make pictures of the day but an illuminated dashboard with your final March milometer readings on for the AX and the SAXO would be nice, and just the material for the How many miles in the month thread.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
My picture for today is from my friend in Elstree. Bob's younger grandaughter took part in a national dance competition regional final and they have got through to the national final in Oxford in June. Guess which one of these little madams she is!
